Privacy Policy & Support
Effective date: 11 August 2026 · Publisher: Furkan Sonmez · The Netherlands

Privacy Policy

Short version: Sum45 has no ads, analytics SDKs or third-party marketing trackers. Game progress is stored on your device. Optional platform achievements and leaderboards are handled through Apple Game Center, Google Play Games or Steamworks.

1. Controller and contact

Sum45 is published by Furkan Sonmez in the Netherlands. For privacy questions or requests, contact sum45free@gmail.com.

2. Data stored locally

Sum45 stores campaign and random-puzzle progress, settings, achievements, statistics, personal records and an active Infinity Mode run locally on your device. This information is used only to provide game features. It is not sent to a Sum45-operated server.

You can erase local game data with Settings → Reset All Progress. Uninstalling the app also normally removes its local data, subject to your device’s backup and restore features.

3. Platform gaming services

If available and enabled, Sum45 uses the gaming service built into your platform:

For authentication, achievements and leaderboards, the platform provider may process your platform player identifier, sign-in status, scores and achievement progress under its own privacy terms. Sum45 does not operate its own player-account or gameplay database and does not receive your platform password. If a submission cannot be sent while offline, it may remain in a local retry queue until a connection to the platform service is available.

Platform records and account privacy controls are managed through your Apple, Google or Steam account. See the applicable provider policy: Apple, Google, or Valve/Steam.

4. Support communications

If you email support, the email address, message, technical details and attachments you choose to provide are processed to answer and troubleshoot your request. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Support correspondence is normally deleted within 12 months after the request is closed, unless it must be retained longer to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, meet a legal duty, or address abuse or security issues. The email provider also processes the message under its own terms.

5. Purposes and legal bases

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, support information is processed to take steps at your request and for the legitimate interests of operating, supporting and securing Sum45. Local gameplay data is processed by the app on your device to provide the features you request. Sum45 does not sell personal data and does not share it for targeted advertising.

6. Retention and deletion

Local game data remains until you reset it, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Support email follows the retention period described above. Platform leaderboard and achievement records are retained and controlled by the relevant platform provider; use that provider’s account controls or contact it for deletion requests concerning those records.

7. Your privacy rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. To make a request, email sum45free@gmail.com. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or your local supervisory authority.

8. Children

Sum45 is a general-audience number puzzle and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, please contact the address above so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

9. Security and international processing

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. Apple, Google, Valve, the email provider, and GitHub Pages (when this page is viewed online) may process technical request or service data in other countries under their own privacy terms and transfer safeguards.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated when Sum45, its platform integrations or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the app or store listing where appropriate.
